Darker Skin - Graph'it Marker Challenge

This card I made last year for my friend's little girl's first birthday.  It was my first attempt at darker skin tones.  I was pleased how it turned out then.  I have decided to enter this into this week's Graph'it marker challenge. Wish me luck!

Digi Choosday - In the Pink!

Hello there, today is Digi Choosday Challenge - In the Pink! I chose this Emma Canning's image available from www.polkadoodles.co.uk new for this month. I then coloured it with my Graph'it markers and cut it out.  I also had this digi sentiment which I thought would look good with his cute bear. I printed it out and matted it on black cardstock. Used my button embossing folder with white cardstock and used my Pan Pastels to enhance the pattern. I matted that onto black cardstock also.
Added a flower and some buttons and there you have it! Hope you like it.

Shop Till You Drop - Polkadoodles Challenge.

For today's challenge I chose one of the lovely digi images from the Dollie Daydream CD Rom and coloured her in using my Graph'it markers.  I edged the image with Pan Pastels Greys and then matted and layerd it on to  pink and black cardstock.  I printed out some backing papers, sentiment and flowers from the CD Rom and then put the card together. The Dollie Daydream CD Rom is available from www.polkadoodles.co.uk.

Digi Choosday - Anything Goes - Birthday

Another quick and easy card today using the Dollie Daydream CD Rom available from www.polkadoodles.co.uk. I took the images and background papers into My Craft Artist and put together this lovely card. I made a little bag and added a sentiment from the CD Rom.

Creative Moments - January Challenge

Am I bad?  I totally forgot to schedule these cards for this week.  So here they are!  I really couldn't pick which one to enter, so I put all three.  I love the images by Sassy Studios and I love colouring them with my Graph'it markers.  As for the other image, which I love also, I printed it out on to cardstock and then added pan pastels for the background. I jazzed up the flowers using glitter gel pens.

Digi Choosday - For the Boys

So today, it is Digi Choosday Challenge - For the Boys.  I find doing boys and men's cards the most challenging.  I decided to use my Cherryblossom Lane CD Rom from www.polkadoodles.co.uk for my project today.  I chose backing papers, a fence and a cute character and took them into my Craft Artist to create this card.  I am enjoying this new way of crafting for me. It is quick, easy and doesn't waste any paper or much printer ink.  I then adhered it to my card base added a sentiment and buttons and that is it.  Hope you like it. x

Graph'it Marker "Anything Goes - Blue & Yellow" Challenge

This card is made for the Graph'it Marker Challenge.  I used a Little Darlins image from a CD rom I received with a magazine. I coloured her with my Graph'it markers. Matted her onto a scalloped circle and then used papers from my crafty stash to put the card together. Added some bunting, flower and sentiment.

Lilliofthevalley - Anything Goes Challenge

Today I have entered this Altered Frame with a Liliofthevalley image in it to their "Anything Goes" Challenge.  I put the Bear image onto the mount so you can still put a picture behind it. Cute eh?

"Girly" - Polkadoodles Challenge

Hello there folks!  This week's Polkadoodles Challenge is "Girly" so I decided that I would use this lovely shoe which is one of the images in the Dollie Daydream CD Rom which is available now at www.polkadoodles.co.uk. I coloured the shoe with Graph'it markers (which took quite a time) but I am pleased with the results.  Then printed off some backing papers and sentiments for the CD rom and got to work.  I made a stepper card and matted the papers on the different levels. Cut out the sentiments with my Spellbinder dies. Punched out some flowers from the leftover papers added a pearl for the centres.  I also cut a banner out using one of my dies and put "SALE" on the hearts.
I think this card will be for my Daughters birthday as she loves SHOES!

Digi Choosday - New Beginnings

It's that time again - Digi Choosday.  This week I thought I would cover my new notebook. I have a new one every year, to make notes, orders and of course doodle!  I used the new Dollie Daydream CD Rom available from www.polkadoodles.co.uk and took the embellishments, girls, and papers into my Craft Artist programme. There I put this book cover together. I love how it has turned out. I added a couple of sentiments and a flower for her hair.

Altered Frames

Hello there. This is what I have been doing today.  These are some plain cheap frames I bought awhile ago and decided to alter them. I added lace, die cuts buttons and bows and old toppers that I have had in my crafty stash for ages.  I think they look good don't you?

Let's Celebrate - Flatfriends DT Challenge

Hello, it is the first challenge of the year for Flatfriends.  So Happy New Year to you all.  This is a card I have made using one of Emma Canning's December digis.  I printed her out and then coloured her using my NEW Graph'it markers (Greys) I coloured the hair, dress and boots in the warm greys. I also used my NEW Metallic Pan Pastels which I had for Christmas from my other daughter Amy and used the copper colour to highlight the dress, hair balloons and around the edge. It is very subtle, but lush!!  I matted her onto a Spellbinder die in sandstone cardstock and then adhered her to a Kraft cardstock card. I printed a sentiment and cut a balloon from a balloon punch, coloured and pan pastelled it!  Simple but effective card.
