Have you been Zentangled?

Hello folks, well have you been Zentangled?  I had never heard of it until last week when I saw a fabulous card made by a fellow card maker Stella which she had used the Zentangle technique.
When I was back in my final year of school in 1974, all my projects and exam pieces were on an "Optical Art" theme!  Which today is very much like Zentangling!  So I thought I would have a go on two images of Emma Cannings which available on her CD Rom and from I used a very fine nibbed fibre pen to do my zentangling.  I hope you like how they have turned out. I think they are rather Groovy!!

Polkadoodles Challenge - Anniversaries

Hello again, from a very wet and windy Germany!! Where is the Spring/Summer??? But I must say that  it is good for crafting on days like this.

I am a bit late with my Design Team Challenge this week, I really have no excuses!  So here it is!
I chose an image from Double Sprinkles of Kraft CD Rom available
and created a sentiment saying "I Welly love you".  I added ribbon, a bow, die cut flowers, butterflies and border and buttons. Used backing papers from the CD and cardstock from my crafty stash!

Sherri Baldy Challenge - Mom's Day

Hi, this is one of my favourite digis from Sherry Baldy. I coloured this lovely image using Graph it Markers  and added a little bit of glitter of course. I am in Kraft cardstock making mood at the moment, so I used a kraft card base, added some floral card stock and inked the edges usings Tim Holtz distressed inks. Cut out a scalloped circle from Spellbinders, matted the image on another piece of floral cardstock, die cut some snowdrops from Spellbinders, tied with string, added some vintage lace and a sentiment. There she is, pretty as a picture!
